Time for a Change

I have debated and debated over the last 2 years that I have had this blog if I should keep it public or make it private. I am still debating, but while I keep thinking I am going to try out the private side. So if there is anyone out there who reads my blog and would like to keep reading it let me know what your e-mail address is so I can add you to the list.

**Update: So this is what I have decided to do. I am keeping this blog open. I have started another blog that I will post at from now on. The new blog is randbplustworunts.blogspot.com. So thanks to everyone who left their e-mail. You can log in to the new blog now.

Winter Walk

Every January we get a little sick of the cold weather and a little sick of the being stuck inside. While I really want it to snow, a lot, so my dad can try out his new snow blower we all got him for Christmas, I couldn't help being really excited when I saw the 40 degree weather forecasted for this week. Oh the things we could do in 40 degree weather. Okay, not much, but we did head out for a walk. Ty insisted on walking both the dogs which made for a really slow walk, but we weren't really going for the exercise, so it was okay.
This is what are walk looked like most of the way. Cody chasing after Ty.
Apparently I haven't succeeded in teaching Ty that there are cars that use this road also.
This is where Ty decided to take us into more challenging terrain. Look at Cody and the dogs both looking back at me like, "Is he serious?"
And here is little Cody thinkin' he's the man because he just tried to do a somersault on the cement. Ouch! So that was our winter walk. Very refreshing!

Trim Up the Tree...

...with christmas stuff, like bingle balls and whofoo fluff...yes we have had a little too much Grinch this Christmas season. Ty liked to watch it, and then Cody for some reason or another became obsessed with it. He loves the songs from it, the Welcome Christmas and the Trim up the tree. You can stop him in his tracks by turning that song on. He has a special dance he does to it. That is for another post. Tonight we are trimming the tree.

My camera died while we were picking out the tree, but it was lots of fun. The boys thought the best part was running around and hiding in the trees. We found a beautiful tree this year. Possibly the prettiest we have ever picked out. It took forever to get it home and up, so we had to wait to decorate it, which Ty was not to thrilled about.

The boys were great helpers, especially Ty, he was really into it this year. We were all pretty excited to have Gage join us for our decorating party too. Cody and Gage are going to be good buddies someday soon. I think Cody chewed up more ornaments then he got on the tree, but he was a good helper.

Gage liked to eat the ornaments too. I guess they look pretty appetizing.

I thought these next two pictures were funny. Ryan always tries to divide the ornaments equally around the tree, but Ty had a different approach to decorating. He liked to group all the colors together.

Our final product. To quote Ty, "It's beautiful!"
